An Answer for the "Where's Christmas" Question

We seem to have reached the last stretch. That point in the year when, despite the remaining 90 degree temperatures, familiar sights and smells arise in our minds. Without warning, memories come to us as Fall approaches. Most of us carry in our memory pictures of family gathering around a meal prepared by moms or grandmas. Everyone sitting around a fire laughing and sharing stories. Joyful smiles on the faces of children surrounded by piles of wrapping paper. We see those pictures accompanied by the warm fragrances of pumpkin pie, cinnamon, and fresh cut evergreen.

Though some of us may not be ready yet, the seasons always arrive sooner than we think.

We are asked again and again, day after day when our Christmas is going to be out in the store. Short answer, soon... sometime in October. Long answer, we have been preparing ALL year for what promises to be a very special holiday season. The prep began with the ordering process back in January. And on to the arrival of the first boxes in May. This is when the mess really took shape.

That was a bit overwhelming as it was happening. Boxes were just trickling in via UPS and FEDEX from 5 to 25 boxes a week. Then July happened. There was a much more fluid arrival of boxes. Then here comes August when the boxes were brought in by the pallet. Jennifer and Candice unloaded around 200 boxes just in the last 2 weeks. Here's 61 of them in our hallway.

If we thought the mess was overwhelming early on... then who knows what to call the emotions that day. Cannot describe. And cannot believe we got all those to fit in the back of the store and still have any room to walk. Well, we did. And then more boxes came! And there are more boxes to come.

You know, we keep using the word boxes. As if that's all they are. Nope. Not at all. These boxes contain the magic of the season. The joy. The smells. The traditions. And they will be ready for all to see - very soon. Until then, we have a frightfully fabulous selection of Halloween. And a small taste of Fall that gives a sample of Thanksgiving to come.

The Good Witch/Bad Witch wine glasses help a girl stay ghoulishly glam at any Halloween gathering. There's skulls, and skeletons, witch hats and wicked jewelry for all kinds of creepy embellishment to your home and personal decor. We've also got some things that are great for those who want a bit of Halloween without being too scary.

The Fall line of Ribbonwick candles will not only fragrance your home with the perfect scents of the season (pumpkin nutmeg!, seriously) but, when that wick lights, it will provide such a warm glow making your home so so cozy. Add some pumpkins and turkeys, and you've got some Fall decor going.

Let's get a taste of the Fall holidays... enjoy the time. Have a creepy cocktail party. Drink yourself a pumpkin latte. Christmas will be here before you know it.
